Who we are

Il Camarin is a small artisan prosciuttificio that produces a few thousand hams a year, carefully selected pieces destined mainly for sale in fine delicatessens and high-end restaurants.


These are hams of exceptional size and curing, distinguished by the sweetness that only a measured use of salt can guarantee.


Beyond the "magical" air of our town, the following characteristics have become fundamental to achieving the best result:

  • Legs selected exclusively from the finest farms.
  • Artisan processing, carefully tended in every detail.
  • The minimum amount of salt strictly necessary to guarantee a sweet and tender product.
  • A long curing period necessary to bring out the best in each piece.

The careful selection of raw material and meticulous processing result in a ham that is sweet, fragrant and always tender — made to satisfy the quality standards that have always distinguished the finest charcuterie.
