A new experience · San Daniele del Friuli
Il Camarin is a small producer in the heart of San Daniele del Friuli that for years has combined its excellent production with a unique hospitality experience. Every day, coach parties from all over the world visit our facility to discover the secrets of the prosciutto that has made our town famous and to savour its authenticity.
Today, this passion for hospitality takes a new step forward: we have decided to open our doors to walk-in visitors too — families and tourists who are looking for an authentic place to stop and relax. This is how the idea of the Camarin RistoGarden was born.
During the day we will continue to dedicate ourselves to guided tours for large groups by appointment; in the evening, Il Camarin will transform into a place open to all, where top quality meets the simplicity of a night out together.
A wide open space set in a walnut grove, located in the sunny southern area of San Daniele, away from traffic and noise. A lively, relaxed atmosphere — perfect for an evening aperitivo with a generous portion of prosciutto, or simply to catch up with friends over good music.
In summer the Garden will be a haven of sunshine and music; in winter our spacious, wood-stove-heated halls will welcome everyone for warm, convivial evenings.
This initiative draws inspiration from the most beloved event in San Daniele for decades: the historic “Aria di Festa” festival. We believe that bringing a small, permanent version of that festive spirit to our evenings is the best way to break down the barriers between producer and consumer, offering top-quality prosciutto at accessible prices, every day of the year.
The format will be dynamic and informal: guests can order and collect what they want directly at the counter, just like a typical village fair. Those who wish to can stop by Il Camarin for the pleasure of good company, the quality of the product and the atmosphere we will strive to recreate.
A deliberately simple menu, without compromising on excellence:
We're preparing every detail to welcome you: the convivial tables under the great walnut tree, the lights suspended among the branches, the evening atmosphere that makes our garden unique. Here's a preview of how it's taking shape.
